Baked-on coatings for even the biggest tanks.
When you handle chemicals, your storage tanks need protection. Sometimes that’s easier said than done, especially with large tanks. But at Steel Structures, Inc., applying baked-on tank coatings for enhanced chemical resistance is all in a day’s work.
Steel Structures, Inc. is home to one of the largest ovens on the West Coast, enabling us to apply industrial baked phenolic coatings at up to 500° F in both ASME pressure vessels and atmospheric storage tanks at sizes up to 16’W x 16’H x 40’L.
For applications involving up to 98% sulfuric acid, as well as other chemicals, we use one of two baked coatings for chemical resistance. While we primarily use Heresite P403L, specific conditions sometimes warrant using ChemLINE 784. The complete chemical resistance guide for Heresite P403L can be viewed at www.heresite.com.
Whether your tanks are used in water treatment plants, chemical storage facilities, sulfuric acid storage or other application where chemical-resistant coating is required, rest assured that Steel Structures, Inc. has the capacity, the experience and expertise to do the job.
